Our Items Are Sold “As Is”
Most pieces we offer are historical and pre-owned. Signs of age (toning, hinge marks, perf irregularities, cover creases, light foxing, cancellations, etc.) are typical. We provide clear photos and accurate descriptions; please review all images carefully, as they form part of the description.
Except as outlined below, all sales are final.
Short Inspection Window (72 Hours)
We accept returns only within 72 hours of confirmed delivery and only if:
We shipped the wrong item,
The item arrived with undisclosed material defects that differ from the description/photos, or
The item was damaged in transit.
To start a request, email hello@thebreenco.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos (including packaging if damaged). We’ll review and, if approved, issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) with instructions.
Requests received after 72 hours, or without sufficient photos, will not be eligible.
Not Eligible for Return
Buyer's remorse or change of mind
Color/appearance differences due to monitor or lighting variations
Grading/opinion differences (condition assessments can vary among experts)
Lots/collections, clearance/final-sale items, and gift cards
Any item that has been handled, altered, cleaned, soaked, hinged/unhinged, removed from a holder, or otherwise tampered with after delivery
How Returns Work (if Approved)
We’ll provide an RMA and return address. Returns without an RMA are not accepted.
Items must be returned in the exact condition received, with all original holders, sleeves, mounts, and packaging.
Use a tracked, insured shipping method. You are responsible for loss or damage in transit.
Once received and inspected, we will process the resolution:
Refunds vs. Store Credit
If we shipped the wrong item or confirmed a material misdescription/shipping damage, we'll refund the purchase price to the original payment method (original shipping refunded at our discretion).
For any discretionary exceptions (rare and at our sole discretion), we issue store credit only and may deduct a 10% restocking/processing fee. Original shipping is non-refundable; return shipping is your responsibility.
Damaged or Lost in Transit
Damage: Contact us within 72 hours of delivery with photos of the item, internal packaging, and outer box. Retain all materials until the carrier claim is resolved.
Lost Packages: If tracking shows the package as delivered but you cannot locate it, please check with household members and neighbors first and then contact the carrier. We'll assist where possible, but we are not responsible for packages after the carrier marks them delivered.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled only before shipment. Once a label is created or the order ships, the sale is final (subject to the limited inspection window above).
Marketplace Purchases
If you purchase our items through another marketplace (eBay, etc.), that platform’s return rules may apply. When buying directly from our website, this policy governs.
Fraud & Abuse
We reserve the right to refuse returns from accounts with excessive return patterns, evidence of tampering, or policy abuse.
Legal
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable law. Where permitted, this policy governs and supersedes any inconsistent statements elsewhere on our site.
